At Home in San Francisco

San Francisco Green Schoolyard Alliance and the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society invite SFUSD teachers, parents, and green schoolyard coordinators to this three-part follow-up to Ecology of the School Garden. Instructor Annette Huddle, the Botanical Garden's Youth Education Director, will focus on the unique weather and climate here in San Francisco and the history of local habitats. The training will include standards-based lessons to help instill in students a deep affection for the unique natural history of our city.

All classes will begin outside in the Botanical Garden, followed by a light dinner and discussion indoors.
